— LADIES’ AUXILIARY. SATISFACTORY FINANCIAL POSITION. The monthly meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms, Mrs W. E. Either presiding over a very large attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Duckworth, Aikman, Gaze, Bannister, Welch. Kilgour and McKenzie. Two new members, Mrs Rayner and Mrs’ Whittaker, were nominated. The treasurer’s report showed a satisfactory bank balance. A report on the dances held by the Ladies’ Auxiliary showed that these gatherings were very popular. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Pither. Nelson and Hill.
