4 CLEARING SALE. PRICES AT HUKANUI. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Coy. Ltd., report on a clearing sale held on account of Mr M. C. Smith, at Hukanui, where a complete dairy herd was offered to a large attendance of the public. The cows came forward in good condition, and averaged just short of £9. Sundries and implements were keenly sought after. Quotations: July calvers £l2, £ll, £lO 10s, £lO to £8 10s; August calvers £lO 10s, £lO, £9 10s to £8; September calvers £9, £8 10s to £8; late calvers £8 to £5; dairy heifers (2yr springing) £lO to £8; Jersey weaner heifers £4.
