Mr Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today: Barograph, 30.40. Shade temperature: Maximum 53.4, minimum 27.5, terrestrial 20.8. Sunshine, 5 hours 48 minutes. Frost, 9.6 degrees.
