WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY AT LANSDOWNE. A tournament was held by the Masterton Golf Chib on the Lansdowne Links durmg ( the weekend. In spite of the wet weather the links were in good condition. The Wairarapa championship fi n3l was played this morning between Lieut. K. W. McFarlane- and R. Baker, the former winning 1 up after an evenly contested game. Results are;— Wairarapa Championship. First round: K. W. McFarlane beat G. Ross, G Brown beat L. Connftlly, H. Esau beat F. Candy, R. Baker beat N. Whiteman. Second round: K. McFarlane beat G. Brown, R. Baker beat F. Candy. Final: McFarlane beat Baker, 1 up. First Group. ■First round: R. Ma'ckfe beat D. T. Herbert, H. Nitz beat E. Jenkins. J. Dalziell beat G. Biss, R. McKenzie beat R. Page. Second round: R. Mackie beat H. Nitz, J. Dalziell beat R. McKenzie. Final: Mackie beat Dalziell, 2 up. Second Group. First round: C. K. Long beat H. Brickman, E L. Nitz beat I. Knell, J. Broad beat G. Joy, J.
