The rateable property in the Borough is £32,000. The additional amount required is £847 13s id, which it is proposed to raise by a general rate of sid in the £; a lighting rate of l§d in the £, and a library rate of.gd in the £. The above estimates were approved by the Council at the meeting held on the 14th day of May, 1942, and it is proposed to strike and levy the said rates and charges at a meeting of the Borough Council, to be held in the Borough Council Chambers on THURSDAY, June 11, 1942.
