CONVOY FOR NORWAY
ATTACKED BY COASTAL COMMAND FOUR SHIPS LEFT BURNING. CUT IN ENEMY SUPPLIES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, May 29. A further 'shortage of supplies to German garrisons in Northern Norway is assured by an attack made by Coastal Command aircraft last night on a north-bound enemy convoy off the Frisian Islands. Four ships in the convoy were left burning after the attack, which was carried out by Lock-heed-Hudsons. Hits probably were made on other ships as well. One Coastal Command plane is missing.
