PLENTY OF BREAD
ASSURED IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 28. ’"We shall have'plenty of bread all through this year, and our supplies of raw materials are assured,” said the Minister of Food. Lord Woolton, at a conference of the National Bakers’ Association. He added that as a result of the introduction of the national wheatmeal loaf a vast .amount of shipping would be saved. Britain was getting the best bread of any country in Europe.
