E.P.S. TRIAL
CHAIRMAN WELL SATISFIED REPORTS FROM CONTROLLERS. DETAIL IMPROVEMENTS BEING MADE. “I wish to express my gratification of the work of the controllers and personnel,” said Mr T. Jordan, chairman of the Masterton E.P.S. Central Committee last night, referring to last Saturday’s daylight emergency trial. “I was very pleased indeed with the whole turnout,” said Mr Jordan. “I am satisfied that we can deal with any situation likely to arise in this community.” Reports of the controllers, covering the activities of the various committees were presented to the committee and a number of detail improvements in the general organisation of the scheme were agreed upon. It was decided to invite the Oil Industry E.P.S. to appoint a representative on the central E.P.S. committee. The adoption of military time was agreed upon. The committee decided to shift the location of the information committee - to the same place as that occupied by the executive. The merging of the records and the information committees was agreed to by the central committee.
