(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) | (Received This Day 12.35 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, May 28. A German punitive expedition wiped out the entire village of Televang, on the island of Sotra, as a reprisal for Norwegians there shooting the deputy-chief of the Gestapo and another Gestapo member. The Germans arrested the whole male population, evacuated their families, killed and sold their livestock andburned all their buildings. In another part of the country 320 Norwegians were arrested for shooting a Quisling policeman and a hundred hostages were sent to Germany. The arrest of a further eighty is expected to bring the total to four hundred, which the Germans originally said they would take for the attack.
