f GAINED BV AMERICAN SUBMARINES TWO JAPANESE SHIPS SUNK ENEMY HEAVY CRUISER DAMAGED. LONDON, May 28. In the South-West Pacific United States submarines have damaged another heavy Japanese cruiser and have sunk a large auxiliary ship and cargo ship. Another merchant ship was severely damaged.
