HOME GUARD

MASTERTON BATTALION. ROUTINE ORDERS FOR WEEK. Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard are:— Classes.—N.C.O. class, Tuesday, June 2, at 7.0 p.m. at Municipal Hall. Special coaching class: This class will be held at Municipal Hall on Thursday, June 4, at 7.0 p.m.

Parades.—A Company at Drill Hall, Sunday, May 31, at 8.0 a.m. Lunch, mug and digging tools to be carried. C Company: No parade this weekend. Other centres will adhere to individual arrangements.

School of Instruction, C.D.5.1., Dannevirke: June 6 to 13, drill instruction. D Company Commander will submit to Battalion Headquarters not later than 30/5/42 the name of one n.c.o. to proceed to the above course. Promotions and appointments. —B Company: R. Scott to be L/Cpl. Marched in.—G. King to C.W.S. Marched out.—B Company: A. G. Laingito Air Force.
