MAGISTRATE’S COURT SITTING. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefended civil case heard in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court today by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M.: W.F.C.A., Ltd. v F. Sidwell, £3 3s 3d, costs £1 5s 6d. The following judgment summons cases were dealt with: F. A. H. Taylor versus H. E. Hickson, claim £7 15s 6d; defendant ordered to pay the amount claimed forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Turnbull & Jones, Ltd. versus S. Johnston, claim £8 2s 6d; defendant ordered to pay the amount claimed forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment. F.C.D.C. Co., Ltd. versus E. Whiteman, claim £9 11s sd, defendant ordered to pay the amount claimed forthwith, in default nine days’ imprisonment.
