U=BOAT ATTACK

ON AMERICAN DESTROYER. MADE IN FRENCH TERRITORIAL WATERS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 26. According to a Washington message, the St. Lucia correspondent of the Associated Press of America reports that the submarine that attacked the United States destroyer Blakeley operated within the French territorial -waters of Martinique which the Blakeley was patrolling when attacked. A message received yesterday stated that the Blakeley, a wiorld war destroyer, had reached port, with ten of her crew missing and six injured, after being struck by an enemy torpedo.
