The following N.Z.E.F. casualty list was issued yesterday:— , PRISONER OF WAR—PREVIOUSLY REPORTED MISSING. CHRISTIAN, Peter R„ Pte., Sydenham. COUTTS, Bertram, Pte., Matamata. NATUSCH, Roy S., Spr., Havelock North. AIR PERSONNEL ONE DEATH REPORTED. The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas were reported casualties yesterday:— BAIRD. William A., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations; Napier. HILL, Raymond 1., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations; Wellington. HUMPHREYS, Arthur G. L„ D.F.C., F/Lt., R.A.F., missing on air operations; Christchurch. REED, Dudley H„ F/Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations; Darfield. RUSSELL, David M., F/Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., killed in action; Papakura. WHITING, Norman E., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations; Tinwald. NAVAL CASUALTIES WIRELESS MECHANIC KILLED. The following casualties were announced by the* Navy Office, Wellington, last night:— MURRAY, R. J., Sub.-Lieut., Malayan R.N.V.R., missing, Awakino, New Plymouth. SHAW, David W., Leading Wireless Mechanic, killed on war service. New Plymouth.
