WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

MEETING AT KAITUNA. (“Times-Age” Special.) Al the monthly meeting of the Kai-tuna-Fernridge Women’s Institute held at Mrs Alan Keir’s home, Mrs Keir, Sent. presided. Mrs A. Keir read her report on the half-yearly council meeting held in Carterton.

An amusing knitting competition was won by Mrs D. Cooper. Wool was supplied to members for knitting for the Red Cross Society. The next meeting will be held at Mrs Cwen Wyeth’s residence on June 5. Th'* ’’oiti’lt of the flower competition was Mrs Keir, Sen;*.,-1, Mrs R. Shaw 2. Affefnoch’ tea was served by the hostess, Mrs Alaii Keir, assisted by Mrs D. Cooper.
