MASTERTON SALE ‘ VALUES DECLINE SLIGHTLY. The Associated Auctioneers report:—A yarding well up to advertised numbers came forward yesterday. There was a fairly big entry of fat sheep, but competition was limited, resulting in a slight drop in prices. Store lambs sold freely and made par values. Ewes r.w. ram also made' late rates. Following are the prices realised: — Fats.—Fat wethers, good, 28s 6d to 29s 6d. lighter 26s 8d to 27s 9d; b.f. 2-tooths 21s 6d to 25s 6d; fat lambs, heavy, 22s 6d to 23s 6d. light 20s Gd to 21s; fat ewes 15s 6d to 17s 6d, light sorts 12s 6d to 13s; b.f. ewes, maiden, 20s to 235. Store Sheep.—6th to 4yr ewes, r.w. S.D ram, 22s 4d; m.a. ewes, r.w. S.D. ram, 15s 6d to 20s; 2 and 4th wethers 22s 6d to 245; w.w. woolly lambs, good, 17s Gd to 18s 9d; shorn wether lambs 17s 6d to 18s 4d; medium lambs 14s 6d to 16s; small lambs 8s 6d to Us lOd; b.f. lambs 13s 6d to 15s 6d, small 11s to 12s: store ewes 6s to 8s 6d; woolly ewe lambs, very good. 26s 7d, medium 15s to 18s 4d. small 12s 4d.
