ROTARY CLUB
BUSINESS AT WEEKLY LUNCHEON. There was a large attendance of members at the v/eekly luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club today, the president, Mr Norman Lee, being in the chair. Visitors were Wing Commander R. C. Ayling, Messrs F. Ellett, K. Dick and F. C. Daniell. The speaker for the day was the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, who dealt with various aspects in relation to demands on manpower in the Wairarapa for the country’s war effort. A report of Mr Jordan’s address appears on page 2. • Mr Jordan was accorded a hearty vote of thanks on the motion of the Ven Archdeacon E. J. Rich.
