MASTERTON BATTALION ROUTINE ORDERS. CLASSES, PARADES & OTHER ACTIVITIES. Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, are as follow;— Classes: N.C.O. class, Tuesday, May 26, at 7.0 p.m. at the Municipal Hall. Special coaching class: This class will be held at the Municipal Hall on Thursday, May 28, at 7.0 p.m. Parades: Signallers will parade on Thursday, May 21, at 7.0, p.m. at the Central School. Petrol Guards will parade on Thursday, May 21, at 7.0 p.m. at the Municipal Hall. A Coy. at the Drill Hall, Sunday, May 24, at 8.0 a.m. Lunch, mug and all available picks and shovels to be carried. C Coy. at the Municipal Hall, Saturday, May 23, at 1.30 p.m., return Sunday at 7.30 a.m. Other centres will adhere to individual arrangements. Parades for range practice: Te Ore Ore Platoon (1 Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range, Sunday, May 24, at 8.30 a.m. Ambulance Platoon and Signallers Platoon (H.Q. Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range on Sunday, May 24, at 9.30 a.m. Wainuioru Platoon (F Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range, Sunday, May z. 4, at 1.0 p.m. Rifle to be carried. Promotions and appointments: H. L. Price to be Corporal, C.W.S. Marched in: A. J. Madsen. Marched out: C Coy.: A. G. Hedley to Territorials. F Coy.: J. J. Marshall o Territorials.
