PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Eketahuna County Council held on the Bth day of May, 1942, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Council to be held on the 12th day of June, 1942, at the Council Chambers, Eketahuna. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in Section 131 (4) of the Counties Act, 1920, the Eketahuna County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that the cost of maintaining for the year 1942-43 the roads situated in the West Riding of the County of Eketahuna and known as Hamua-Hukanui, Mangaraupui, North, Parkville Central, South No. 2 and Factory Roads, shall be apportioned between the several Ridings of the County in the following proportions, that is to say, for the East Riding, fifteen per centum (15%), for the West Riding sixty per centum (60%), and for Alfredton Riding twenty-five per centum (25%), and that the estimated cost of maintaining the aforesaid Roads shall be One Thousand Pounds (£1000).
