LOCAL REPORT. Mr N. W. Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.47; shade temperature, maximum, 5G.9; minimum, 31.0; terrestrial, 23. G; sunshine, 5 hours 42 minutes; frost, G.B degrees. PHASES OF THE MOON—New moon, May 15; first quarter, May 23; full moon, May 30. Draw blinds at 5.35 p.m. today; raise them at 6.57 a.m. tomorrow.
