DACOITS DERAIL PUNJAB. MAIL THEN ATTACK AND ROB PASSENGERS: ■ TWENTY-FOUR PERSONS KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. A Karachi report says 24 persons were killed and 30 injured when dacoits derailed the Punjab Mail train, which was going at top speed at night. The dacoits removed fishplates, cut the telegraph wires, fired on passengers and stole money and clothing. A mobile column captured six of the dacoits.
