INDOOR BASKETBALL
LOCAL ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. The most interesting games of the season were witnessed by a large attendance of spectators in the Municipal Hall last evening. The best contests were those between W.F.C.A. and C. Smith’s and the State Kitchenette and Garages. Woolworths gave their best display so far this season. The following are the results: — Women’s games: Cathies beat Vesta Batteries. 4/2; Woolworths beat Bank, 20/0; Lancers beat Post & Telegraph, 10/4; W.F.C.A. beat C. Smith’s. 17/2; W.F.C.A. B beat State Kitchenette C. 8/5; McDuffs beat McKenzies, 9/2; State Kitchenette A beat Garages, 11/4; Sparklets and State Kitchenette B drew, 6/G; Cathies and United drew, 4/4. Men’s games: A.S.C. beat Solway, 21/4; Ruahine beat Interhouse, 19/10; Cadets beat White & Co., 11/10.
