A letter bearing a French stamp issued at the time of the visit of the King and Queen to Paris in 1938, showing Westminster Abbey and the Arc de Triomphe and clasped hands in a medallion, has just been received in London. The post-mark shows that the letter was posted in Marseilles on September 9/ 1941. It must have passed through many hands, and the fact that it was- nowhere stopped is an indication that all who handled it were anxious it should continue bn its way and bear to Britain its message of unforgotten friendship and affection for France’s ally. After the concert or after the ball, Into the street from the sheltering hall; Then is the cold catching time for us all, The moment of danger be sure. Winter mischances our happiness mar, Sore throat, bronchitis and nasal catarrh; Then for its advent how grateful we are, .Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. 8
