CAMP FACILITIES

HOT SHOWERS AND DRYING ROOMS. POSITION IN THE WAIRARAPA. Arrangements have been made at one of the principal military camps in the Wairarapa for the men to have at least one or two- hot showers each week and in the same camp facilities are being improvised for the drying oJ clothes-—work which is expected to be completed in a matter of two days. The view is expressed that some effort should be made to connect up the • Solway Showgrounds with the borough sewer 'system. It is pointed out that this would be in the general interests of the community, as many Bible Class and Y.W.C.A. camps are held there in normal times. The Masterton Borough and County Councils and the A. and P. Association should, it is stated, seriously consider the matter.
