MADE AMBASSADOR
UNITED STATES MINISTER TO NORWAY. I (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 12. President Roosevelt has sent to the Senate the nomination of Mr Anthony J. Drexel Biddle, Junr., now Minister to Norway, to be Ambassador. It is presumed that Norway will follow suit by making her Minister at Washington an ambassador.
