The War Department has announced that all passenger air liners are now operating under orders to prevent passengers seeing strategic sites for war factories. This is accomplished by the installation of curtains which are drawn while the planes are flying over vital defence areas, convoys, airports, arsenals and important plants. • The curtains are also drawn till three minutes after the planes take off from the aerodromes and three minutes before landing.
