GOLD MINING
MARTHA COMPANY. PROFITS FOR YEAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 7. A net profit of £60,041 was earned by the Martha Gold Mining Co. (Waihi), Ltd., in 1941, according to details received by cablegram from London. The principal figures were:—Gross profit, £132,582; taxation, £OB,622; depreciation, £3,919; brought forward, £5.968; dividend 25 per cent., absorbing £61,988; carried forward, £4,021. COMPANY RETURNS. The Okarito dredge returned 13oz. lldwt. for 118 hours. The Molyneux dredge, for the period ended April 30, returned 190 oz. for 394 hours.
