IN HAND AND PROMISED. FOR THE LIBERTY LOAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Reserve Bank reports that -after four days, Liberty Loan receipts total £2,000,000. Detailed receipts are:— 1947 stock, 229 applications, amounting to £309,290; 1955 stock, 394 applications, amounting to £1,465,690; total, 623 applications, amounting to £1,774,980. In addition amounts of £230,000 are promised, making a grand total of £2,004,980.
