GERMAN CLAIM

ATTACK ON ARCTIC CONVOY, NO CONFIRMATION AS YET BY ADMIRALTY. (British Oificial Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, May 6. The Germans have been making substantial claims during the past few days cqncerning an attack which they say was made by German naval units in the Arctic against a British convoy bound for Russia. No account of this attack has been given by the British Admiralty, but since ships while at sea maintain wireless silence, full reports would not reach the- Admiralty until -the vessels reach port. It is clear, however, that with lengthening days attacks on convoys to and from Russia must be expected to be intensified..
