Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. yesterday: Barograph, 30.42; shade temperature, maximum 71.1, minimum 47; terrestrial 36.1; sunshine, 5 hours 18 minutes; rain, trace. Mr Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.39; shade temperature, maximum C 6.1. minimum 38; terrestrial, 29.8; sunshine, .8 hours, frost, .6 degrees.
