INTERHOUSE DANCE

SATURDAY NIGHT’S FUNCTION. There was a large attendance, including a good representation of both the Army and Air Force at a dance held by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association in the Municipal Hall on Saturday night. The music was supplied by Barnes’s Orchestra and Messrs B. Filer and R. Burling played extras. Mr J. Henderson proved an able M.C. A buffet supper was served. The winners of competitions were: — Lucky Spot waltz, Miss Gerrand and Lance-Corporal J. Beckett; Monte Carlo, Miss O. Curry and Mr E. Colban. The next dance will be held in a fortnight’s time.
