COLLISION IN TUNNEL
FOUR MEN INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WESTPORT. April 27. A collision occurred in Hawke's Crag tunnel, Buller Gorge, at 8 a.m., when a workmen's train from Westport collided with a ballast train down from Inangahua. The engine of the up train struck the van of the down train, totally wrecking the van. No other rolling stock was damaged. Four men were injured, three being taken to Reefton Hospital. They were Messrs W. J. Hill, fireman, W. F. Sidwell, guard, W. H. McGeorge and G. Eylington.
