IN THE PHILIPPINES 250TH ENEMY AIR ATTACK ON CORREGIDOR. JAPANESE TROOPS SHELLED IN BATAN. LONDON, April 27. A war communique issued in Washington today states that the fortress of Corregidor has had its 250th air raid alarm. Both ' Corregidor and Fort Hughes were attacked by dive-bomb-ers and Japanese artillery shelled Corregidor from both shores of Manila Bay. The American guns replied, breaking up every troop concentrations on Batan.
