ATTEMPTED MURDER
CHARGE AGAINST FARMER. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 24. Albert James Cunniffe, farmer, of Wiremu Road, was charged in the Police Court at Rahotu yesterday, before Justices of the Peace, with attempted murder of Ivy Elizabeth Cunniffe. He was remanded in custody to appear at the New Plymouth Court on Thursday, April 30. No details were released by the police. Cunniffe, who lives with his wife and family on his farm on Wiremu Road, was arrested on Wednesday evening.
