Holders in France of shares in IndoChina tin mines have been informed that their shares are now classified under “foreign holdings.” The announcement, said to have been issued to French holders through their banks, has caused much misgiving in France and is thought to foreshadow a Vichy sell-out to Japan more complete than hitherto suspected.
