It is disclosed that Bath was the objective of the enemy bombing attack last night. It is difficult to understand the reason why the Luftwaffe should have selected, for its first considerable attack for months, this unoffending town. Last night’s raid on Bath is reported to 1 have lasted several hours and many high-explosives and incendiaries were dropped. Considerable damage was’ caused to the residential part of the town and it is repported that many people have been rendered homeless.
