POPPY DAY
RECORD MASTERTON SALES. RECEIPTS SO FAR OVER £285. Poppy Day sales in Masterton this year set another record. Receipts so far in hand total £285 Is 6d and with a few small returns yet to come in it is expected that the total will be about £3OO. Last year, when the receipts were also a record, the total was £250. Those who helped in the sale of poppies last Friday and to whom the Wairarapa R.S.A.- is deeply indebted wore: North end: Mesdames R. C. Drummond, E. J. Heffer and A. E.
