According to reports from Istanbul, General Mikhailovitch’s forces have driven out Italian and German units from a number of points in the Rogatica area and routed large forces sent by General Neditch, the Yugoslav quisling, to attack the patriots, who killed 800 of them. Patriot forces are also tightening their grip on an Italian alpine division .Which has been surrounded for more than four months near Plevije.

The division lost more than 500 killed and wounded in a desperate attempt to break the encirclement. Guerillas are active in the mountains in Albania from where they make repeated surprise raids on Italian garrisons.
