POTENTIAL POWER

NOW ON OUR SIDE MR ATTLEE ON WAR OUTLOOK. ANTICIPATION OF SEVERE STRUGGLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 19. The Deputy-Prime Minister, Mr Attlee, speaking at Dundee today, said: “We cannot foresee what may be the results of the spring and summer offensive on the Eastern Front. We are in a critical year. We will not win without severe struggles and great sacrifices. But we know the potential power is now on our side. “We shall have the material which means victory, with these immonse resources coming in. One great achievement of this country is that we have come through a difficult time of waiting. It has been a very testing time for our troops, because they have been kept in training, waiting. The time will come when that defensive will be changed to an offensive.”
