PRINCESS ELIZABETH

REGISTRATION FOR YOUTH TRAINING. SERVICE AS GIRL GUIDE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 17. Princess Elizabeth, who will be sixteen years of age on Tuesday next, is registering at the local Employment Exchange under the Ministry of Labour youth training scheme on April 25. The Princess will be liable to be interviewed to decide which organisation she will join. She has been a Girl Guide since 1937 and it is unlikely that she will be directed to join another organisation. Princess Elizabeth attended her first dance this week and was partnered by several young Guards officers.
