ENEMY HARASSED
LAND & AIR PATROLS IN LIBYA. LONDON, April 16. In Libya the enemy is being steadily harassed by land patrols and aircraft. Fighter aircraft carried out offensive actions in the forward area all through yesterday. Seven of our aircraft are missing from all Middle East operations. A Middle East communique states:— “It is now known that in the course of air raids on Malta on Tuesday two Junkers 88s and two Junkers 87s were destroyed by anti-aircraft fire.”
