The Minister of National Emergency Services, Mr Heffron, said he was cabling to New Zealand for derails of the methods used m the Do •minion for dealing with fire bombs. He was commenting on a messages New Zealand that there hepublic were adivsed to use buckets of water to deal with the bombs In Australia it is emphasised that only a fine spay of water should be used on a tire, bomb. An official of the Sydney Fire Brigade said that firemen who turned a, jet of water on magnesium bombs demonstrate that it was the wro n g thing to do had to wear coloured glass es because the resultant white as was too powerful for their eyes. A bomb could not be put into a buckunless it was picked up within ha minute of landing-otherwise it would explode, sending off dangerous fragments of metal. _____
