RETURNING TO LONDON NEXT WEEK. CONFERENCE WITH PRESIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 9. President Roosevelt discussed General Marshall’s London mission with the American Ambassador to Britain (Mr J. G. Winant) today. Asked later about a rumour that he is likely to succeed Miss Frances Perkins as Labour- Secretary, Mr Winant replied: “I have only one job to do and that is to go to London and I am going there next week.”
