MADE BY SOVIET FORCES SUCCESSES IN AIR FIGHTING AT MURMANSK. ENEMY ATTACKS DECISIVELY REPELLED. LONDON, April 7. The Soviet Army has liberated thirty more places in two days' fighting in the Smolensk region. Red Army troops have also occupied an important railway station. The “Red Star” refers to the big air battles which have taken place recently over Murmansk. Towards the end of last month, out of 200 attacking enemy aircraft 15 were destroyed. The rest fled after unloading their bombs into the bay and on the cliffs. Not a single military or industrial target was hit.
