N.Z. ARMY FIFTEEN BEATEN AT SUDBURY. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, April 6. A New Zealand fifteen played The Wasps at Sudbury. The New Zealanders were without their best forwards, namely Sapper A. W. Hurst (Waikato) and D. Miimi (Hawke’s Bay), but had their strongest backs. Corporal R. Ericson, who played for the King Country, captained the New Zealanders and played centre threequarter. The New Zealanders led by 3 points to nil at half-time, but The Wasps scored 9 points in the second half, to win by 9 points to 6.
