STATE THEATRE

“GREAT GUNS.” “Great Guns,” starring Laurel and Hardy, which will be shown tonight has a topical background in the expansion of the American Army, and as is to be expected, it provides Laurel and Hardy with ample scope for their inimitable antics. From start to finish the picture is a series of funny situations. Laurel and Hardy have graced the screen for many years, but their lustre is undimmed and this latest film shows them in as good comedy fettle as ever. There will be a matinee on Monday afternoon at which “Great Guns” will be shown. It is certainly a picture that children as well as adults will find to their liking.
