ON LAND AND AIR BASES IN LIBYA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, April 5. A R.A.F. Middle East communique states: “Bomber aircraft of the Middle East Command raided harbour installations and shipping at Benghazi on Friday night. Further attacks were made on enemy positions in the Tmimi and Dorna areas. During enemy raids on Malta yesterday, three. Junkers 87 and one Junkers 88 were shot down by anti-aircraft fire. It is now known that a second enemy aircraft, a Junkers 87, was shot down by anti-aircraft gunfire during raids on Malta on Friday. One of our aircraft is missing.
