ARRESTED IN U.S.A.

LEADER OF “SILVER SHIRTS.” (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON, April 4. William Dudley Pelley, leader of the anti-semitic “Silver Shirts” and alleged pro-Fascist, ' was arrested by Department of Justice agents in Darien, Connecticut, and charged with violating the Espionage Act of 1917. Pelley is alleged to have made seditious statements in his recently discontinued publication “The Galilean.” Pelley is the fifth person arrested on' charges of sedition or criminal libel since the States’ entrance into the war. Pelley Is being taken to Indianapolis, Indiana, for trial.
