REPELLED IN LIBYA ANOTHER NIGHT ATTACK ON BENGHAZI. AXIS BOMBERS SHOT DOWN AT MALTA. LONDON, April 5. A Cairo communique states that in Libya an enemy column, including tanks and guns, withdrew after being engaged in an action 15 miles northwest of Mekili. The R.A.F. made another night raid on Benghazi Harbour. Other enemy bases were attacked from the air. Four more Axis bombers were shot down over Malta yesterday. One of our planes is missing.

MORE ENEMY LOSSES IN DAY & NIGHT RAIDS ON MALTA. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 4. A Malta message reports another 11 German aircraft destroyed or damaged since Thursday morning by gunfire and fighters. The enemy continued to raid the island day and night. Searchlights did excellent work and illuminated 70 per cent of the targets.
