PAHIATUA SALE. LATE RATES MAINTAINED. The Associated Auctioneers report on their weekly sale held at Pahiatua on Tuesday as follows: —A large entry of sheep and station cattle of all classes were yarded and offered to a large- attendance of local and outside buyers; realisations in these sections remain firm on late rates and we report a total clearance at auction. Pigs were again slow of sale and values here are on a par with last week. Quotations. —Sheep: 5-yr ewes (good) 16s, 15s 6d, 15s 4d, 14s lid; 5-yr ewes, 13s 9d to Ils; 2th ewes 22s 4d, 22s 3d to 20s 4d; 4 and 6th ewes, 19s; 2th wethers, 19s 7d; shorn w lambs, 16s 9d to 13s; woolly wether lambs, 16s to 12s 9d; b.f. lambs 16s; small b.f. lambs 16s; small b.f. lambs 14s lOd to 12s. P.A. bullocks, £9 ss, £9 to £8 17s 6d; 2‘/2yr steers, £8 3s to £7 15s; 2’/2yr P.A. heifers, £5 15s to £5; 18mths steers, £6 14s to £5 Is; fat bullocks, £lO 17s, £10; fat cows £8 4s to £7 10s to £6 10s. Pigs: Weaners, 10s to ss.
